A. gallica, A. nabsnona, A. ostoyae, A. cepistipes, A. mellea, A. sinapina, or A. tabescens.

Armillaria socialis mostly occurs in the southern part of Europe (e.g.
Guillaumin 1985). The northern distribution limit runs through Central Europe, including
the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In the USA, the fungus is very common
in the south-eastern states, west to Texas and Oklahoma, especially as a severe
pathogen of oaks and fruit trees (Kuo 2004). In Japan, it was found in Kyushu and
the central and southern parts of Honshu (Ota et al. 1998) and is also recorded
from ornamental cherries plantations of alley trees (Hasegava 2005).
Cercherò per le foto durante le vacanze :)
